Our CNC shear feeder is capable of +/-0.005” tolerance at all times completely hands off through the shear. The sheet being sheared is held by pneumatic grippers that are advanced by the shear feeder, not by the shear operator. This is what makes the PMI Accu-Cut CNC Shear Feed Table standout from other so called CNC Shear Systems. Our system is a true feeder, not just a CNC Front/Backguage which still relys on the shear operator to push/pull sheets to a CNC reference point.

Productivity is higher than manual operation using the PMI Accu-Cut CNC Shear Feed Table. Since it is a feeder, the system operates at speeds much greater than those achievable in manual shearing. The sheet is fed at up to 1100” per minute regardless of sheet size, and since it is a real ‘machine feed’, it does not slow down at the end of its shift.

The PMI Accu-Cut CNC Shear Feed Table operates through a simple programming language that experienced and novice shear operators will become proficient with quickly. The programming is based on the same front gauge/back gauge mentality that exists in manual shearing. Since the system runs on a program and is a true feeder, the shear operator is obligated to load the sheet, make a program and press GO. Setup time is eliminated with the PMI Accu-Cut CNC Shear Feed Table since programming allows for multiple sizes to be cut from the same sheet. All programming can be stored for retrieval later and the system will tell you when your program is invalid since it interprets exactly what you are cutting.
